Takt Building

The Takt building is an individual project of the BRJ-Studio service and residential building, in which the vertical rhythm of two-color stripes on the facade becomes the main architectural distinguishing feature of the entire project. Alternating light and dark vertical stripes of plaster give the central body an expressive, non-obvious character, contrasting with the stark darkness of the clinker service wing. A black gable roof and dark window joinery unite both zones of the building into a coherent whole. A separate, low garage building with a green wall overgrown with vegetation completes the whole composition, bringing a biological touch to the industrial setting. The Takt building is a BRJ-Studio project combining the service and commercial function of the ground floor with apartments on the upper floors in one, architecturally expressive block.
