Open House

Open House is an individual project of a one-storey house BRJ-Studio, which was created with the aim of making the most of the unique location of the plot by the lake. The extensive terrace with wooden floor and glass railing opens directly onto the water surface, creating a space in which the border between the interior and the landscape virtually disappears. Spot lighting on the ceiling emphasizes the minimalist character of the concrete canopy, and light curtains separating the terrace from the bedroom give the interior an intimate, hotel atmosphere. Open House is a BRJ-Studio project for an investor who was looking for a space as carefully designed as the surrounding landscape — calm, precise and consistently open to the outside.
