The House on the Bank

The House on the Bank is an individual project of BRJ-Studio, which was created with the aim of making the most of the unique location of the plot — directly on the shore of the lake. A compact, one-storey block with a modernist form combines wooden facade cladding with raw architectural concrete, creating an elegant composition inscribed in the autumnal setting of tall trees. Panoramic glazing opens the interior to the view of the lake, and the spacious terrace with glass railing naturally extends the living area outside. The design of a one-story house proves that modern architecture can harmoniously coexist with nature, without dominating the landscape. Dom nad Brzeg is an example of BRJ-Studio's individual approach to design — where the location of the plot becomes the main source of inspiration for the entire architectural concept.
